Andre has been a member of the Hub City 4-H Club in Lubbock County since 2022.  Andre main categories for competition is Leadership, Food and Nutrition, and Public Speaking. 

The 4-H motto is "To Make the Best Better".

The 4-H Pledge is “I Pledge – My head to clearer thinking, My heart of greater loyalty, My Hands to larger service, My Health to better living, For my club, my community, my country and my world.”

Leadership

2023-2024
• Ronda Alexander (4-H Lubbock County Director) requested that I record my 4-H Round Up District presentation on “Self-Affirmation” and it was played for the county and district Lubbock Extension and Outreach employees
• Handed out flyers to soccer and basketball teams at practice to promote our club
• Worked at barnyard during South Plains Fair, cleaned and looked over animals and attendees
• Developed a handout and conducted a presentation on community service opportunities in Lubbock for the Hub City 4-H to participate.
• Led members in 4-H pledge twice.
• Helped present awards at the Lubbock County Food Show Challenge Ceremony
• Helped present awards at the Lubbock County 4-H Round Up Award Ceremony
• Organized a volunteer opportunity for the Hub City 4-H Club to serve a meal at the Ronald McDonald House as a Guest Chef.
• Organized a volunteer opportunity for the Hub City 4-H Club to package weekend snack bags at the South Plains Food2Kids.
• Organized a shift for the Hub City 4-H club to volunteer on a day off from school and assist with the packing of food boxes for food insecure families in Lubbock at South Plains Food Bank.
• Organized a team to walk at the Out of Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk. I raised $75 for this cause.

• Searched for fun games and led a game for Hub City 4-H
